Greek ERA Chairs Day
The Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) was pleased to host the inaugural day event of the seven ERA Chair research projects, coordinated by Greek Research Centers and Universities, within the framework of the Horizon Europe program. The event took place on Tuesday, 26th of September 2023, at FORTH’s facilities in Heraklion, Crete, in the G. Lianis Amphitheater.
A sea full of plastics in the neighborhood of coastal areas in Lasithi
The Coastal & Marine Research Laboratory of FORTH is carrying out a research project for the Lasithi Prefecture, concerning the beaches of Pachia Ammos and Kavousi. The project includes recording of the erosion, analysis of its causes and proposals for intervention on the coastline and improvement of security and accessibility to the beaches.
