FORTH’s 2024 Award for Excellence in Academic Teaching goes to Professor Andreas G. Boudouvis, former Rector at the NTUA
The 34th ceremony for the Award for Excellence in Academic Teaching in memory of V.Xanthopoulos & S.Pnevmatikos will take place 18/12, in the Old Parliament, Athens. The Prize will be awarded by Η.Ε. the President of the Hellenic Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, to Prof. A. G. Boudouvis.

A New Telescope and a "School of the Stars" at Skinakas Observatory!
A new state-of-the-art optical telescope has been operating since 20 November at Skinakas Observatory, the joint research infrastructure of the University of Crete and the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas, made possible by the donation of land on the homonymous peak of Psiloritis, by the historic Municipality of Anogeia.

Lasers4EU: FORTH participates to the new European platform for laser research
