Τhe Natural History Museum of Crete is organizing three events under the title “A century of light”, for the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the electrification of the city of Heraklion.

1^st event: “Light of the Universe's Beacons” Tuesday, December 16^th, 19:00 at FORTH's Science and Cultural Center.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Institute of Astrophysics of FORTH and will be open to the public. The speech will also be streamed via zoom.

2^nd event: ‘’The Light Inside’’, a documentary by Stavros Psilakis, Thursday, December 18^th, 19:00 at the Natural History Museum of Crete.

The screening is organized in collaboration with the Cretan open-air Museum "Lychnostatis" and will be open to the public.

3^rd event: ‘’100 years of electricity, 1925-2025”, Saturday, December 20^th , 11:00-21:00 activities and speeches at the Natural History Museum of Crete.

The activities are open to the public.

All of the above events will be in Greek.
