A cooperation agreement was signed between FORTH and Motor Oil Group on Friday, June 17^th, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Heraklion. In the context of this collaboration of strategic importance, FORTH is going to contribute substantially to the adoption of innovative solutions and applications in the various stages of Motor Oil’s industrial production and commercial activity.

At the same time, Motor Oil and FORTH will collaborate on the planning, the support and the implementation of research activities and/or basic research, in the context of European and national research funding programs and in new fields and emerging technologies. Also, through this collaboration, the innovative entrepreneurship that develops in the context of FORTH’s activity will be supported.

The signing of the agreement took place in the presence of the Minister of State and Digital Governance, Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, the Deputy Minister for Research and Technology, Mr. Christos Dimas, the Deputy Minister of Interior, Mr. Theodoros Livanios, the Regional Governor of Crete, Mr. Stavros Arnaoutakis, and Members of Parliament.
