The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for Research and Technology- Hellas (FORTH) and the Hellenic Society for Nanotechnology in Health Sciences (HSnanoHS) co-organize the first joint scientific conference on "Applied Nanotechnology in Health and Environmental Sciences, Safety, Quality and Efficiency - Regulatory Framework”. The conference will be held on June 30th, 2019 at 9.00 at the premises of FORTH and will be open to the public.

Recognized scientists from Greece will present the latest developments and applications of Nanotechnology in the field of Health and Environmental Sciences. Issues related to safety and efficacy issues of nanomaterials, any potential toxicity of nanomaterials and nanoparticles, applications of nanotechnology in industry, nanomaterial functionality as well as nanotechnology-based consumer products will be discussed.

Three workshops will be organized during the open day, which will present educational material to undergraduate and postgraduate students on topics related to specialized nanotechnology issues.
