Τhe European Acoustics Association is a non-profit organization, founded in 1992, comprising 34 scientific Acoustical Societies, with a total of 9,000 individual members across Europe.

The joint strategic plan of the two Institutions is to maintain excellence and further expand into exciting new areas of research.

The conference’s high impact and interdisciplinary character acted as a pole of attraction for a large number of professors, researchers and students from leading European and Greek Universities and Research Centers, who honored our island with their presence.

A Program Contract for the digital tracking of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in case of emergency, was signed on Thursday September 7th, 2023, by the Director of the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) of FORTH, Professor Dimitris Plexousakis, and the Regional Governor of Crete, Mr. Stavros Arnaoutakis.

Α newly elected Board of Directors of the Managing Company of the Science & Technology Park of Crete (EDAP/STEP-C S.A.) was appointed by the Regular General Assembly on August 28th, 2023 for a five-year term, and constituted into a Body on September 6th, 2023.
