2nd International Conference on Engineering for Waste Valorisation - WasteEng08
The Conference goal is to bring together representatives from academic institutions, industry and public organizations with the aim of collecting, exchanging and promoting the Valorisation of Waste (municipal, industrial, agricultural, construction and demolition) to Energy (ethanol, hydrogen, biogas, biofuel, RDF, pyrolysis products,...) and Materials (raw, secondary and recycled materials).

Memorandum of understanding between the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) and the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation (KOSEF).
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed early this month between the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH) and the Korea Science and Engineering Foundation (KOSEF), with a view to promoting joint research and technological activities in natural sciences and engineering. The memorandum was signed, on behalf of FORTH, by the Chairman of the BoD, Prof. Alkiviades C. Payatakes and on behalf of KOSEF by the Chairman of the Organisation, Prof. Oh-Kab Kwon.
