Within the framework of the Research Project “Between Athens & Alexandria. Platonism, 3rd-7th c. CE” (2022-2024) supported by the A. S. Onassis Foundation, the IMS-FORTH, in collaboration with the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s Center for Hellenistic Studies (ACHS), organizes a monthly online lecture series on late antique Neoplatonism (3rd-7th c. CE).

The Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) auctioned 9 major building projects in the 5 cities of Greece, where its Institutes are based, having secured significant funding of 56 million euros from the Recovery and Resilience Fund and the European Investment Bank, within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan "Greece 2.0".

The Healthcare Business Awards 2023 ceremony took place on Monday, October 23^rd 2023, in Athens, with the participation of distinguished representatives of the Healthcare sector, and more than 400 representatives of the pharmaceutical market, the Academic and scientific community, public benefit organizations as well as, patient associations, who gathered to honor exceptional contributions to Health, Science and Society, in the past year.

The Institute for Mediterranean Studies of the Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH-IMS) proposal, received an exceptionally high score (92/100), making it one of the first in the ranking of funded projects in the Environment and Geosciences category.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today by Prof. Nektarios Tavernarakis, President of the Foundation for Research & Technology-Hellas (FORTH), and Mr. Dimitris Kadis, Group CEO of Pharmathen, aiming at collaborating in the development of joint scientific activities.
